Departments & Ministries

A worker in the RCCG is any child of God on the recommendation of the local Pastor who has been set aside for special services in the House of God. The service could include any ministry in the local church such as the Music ministry, Ushering department, Sunday School department, Children's ministry, Sound and Technical department amongst many others.

The worker is primarily and ultimately working for God and this follows that he/she should expect to be rewarded by God. Secondarily, the worker is working for the RCCG as part of the visible Body of Christ here on earth and this is one of the main reasons why the General Overseer of the RCCG mentions the workers in his daily prayers to God.

The worker's role should not be taken with levity. The workers department is always looking for more volunteers to work within the various departments and ministries.
